My name is Josephine Odu, and I am a Nigerian.
Every day in this country, my country feels heavier than the last.
Prices are rising, jobs are disappearing, insecurity is growing, and the common man is left asking:
Is survival the only dream we have left?
Yet even in all this darkness, I still see something powerful.
I see Nigerians waking before dawn to hustle.
I see young people learning new skills just to stay afloat.
I see mothers turning little into enough somehow, every time.
I see people building hope from nothing but courage.
We are suffering …… yes.
But we are still standing.
Hope hasn’t died. It has simply moved.
It no longer comes from the government …….not anymore.
It comes from us.
From our resilience.
From our stubborn refusal to give up.
From every Nigerian who keeps fighting for tomorrow with honesty and integrity….. YES
Nigeria may be breaking our hearts,
but we still believe.
We still push.
We still pray.
We still dream.
Because if there’s one thing the common Nigerian carries,
it’s a strength that refuses to die.
